Since August 23, 2011, the kennel name 'CLOGMILLS' has been officially approved!
Where does this name come from
The 'Clog' stands for the wooden shoes formerly worn by the workers in the Lancashire textile industry. There was plenty of dancing to it on weekends and at parties. This is specific to Lancashire, where the Heeler also originates.
'Mills' stands for the windmills in the Netherlands.
The combination of the English clog and the Dutch mills form the original kennel name Clogmills.
